Automated bun splicing ability allows for skived materials (as thin as 1mm) such as expanded rubber (neoprene), natural and synthetic, open and closed-cell foams, sponge rubber, EVA, PE foam, PVC foam, felt, foam plastics, and similar materials with a shore hardness in the range of 30 degrees to 70 degrees Scale A, semi-rigid PU foam and rebond foam.

Due to our realized cost savings when buying bun stock raw goods, skiving and splicing in-house, inherently allows for shorter lead times which saves you money. Consequently, PLI, in partnership with our suppliers can offer large and small minimum quantities.

Additionally, we have extensive PSA laminating capabilities, loop skiving technical experience, computerized die cutting, kiss cutting, rotary cutting, sheet laminating, weather-strip and extrusion laminating which positions PLI as a fully integrated supplier to all OEMs.
